About
Pianist Yoon-Wha Roh has been acknowledged for her versatile and sophisticated performances. Roh has appeared as a celebrated soloist with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, New Jersey Garden State Orchestra, Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, Korean Symphony Orchestra, Seoul National Symphony Orchestra, Sungnam Philharmonic Orchestra, and New York Classical Symphony Orchestra. Roh has been featured on WFMT and KPBX radio stations and Korean monthly music magazines, Eumak Journal and The Piano. Roh has won awards and prizes from London International Music Competition, Clara Schumann International Competition, Manhattan International Music Competition, National Artists Competition, American Prize, International Moscow Music Competition, Carles and Sofia Piano Competition, Piano Texas Concerto Competition, and Hakata Fukuoka International Piano Competition among others.
Evan Gray is a Bass-Baritone from Winterthur, Switzerland. Since entering the Curtis Institute of Music in 2019, he has had the chance to perform various operatic roles, concert repertoire, as well as recital work both in and outside of the school. In his young career Evan has performed roles such as: The Forester in Janacek's Cunning Little Vixen, Figaro in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro at Curtis and Leporello in Mozart's Don Giovanni. An accomplished recitalist he has performed Schubert's Winterreise and Ralph Vaughn William's Songs of Travel among many others. Evan has a deep love for contemporary music and has commissioned several pieces, for chamber ensemble and voice, which he will premiere for his Master's Recital. He has also been a participant of the Marlboro Music Festival for their 2023, 2024 and upcoming 2025 seasons, where he has had the chance to delve into chamber repertoire and perform with musicians such as Mitsuko Uchida and Peter Wiley.
