About
Morpheus Piano Trio members Amy Dodds, Sally Singer Tuttle and Tom Hicks originate from the US, England and Guernsey respectively. They share a common interest in presenting works from Britain and featuring composers who may not have received full recognition in their time in history. The trio members met as colleagues at Whitman College, Washington State, and continue to perform together as Dr. Hicks assumes a new position at the College of Charleston, South Carolina. The ensemble is named after Rebecca Clarke's chamber work Morpheus, titled after the Greek god of dreams.
